tho attempts have been made to malign it by criminals...committing crimes then tagging its name on like ownership...the fact remains that in the eyes of the law the responsibility for a crime belongs to the person committing it not the title the criminal chooses to badly repute.

The Simple Witch
some witches are very quiet in their witch lives and some keep
themselves busy with making money and varied talents built on sundry earthy
knowledge.
the simple witch is devoted to its industry of admiring flowers/candles/incense and other objects of admiration in the name of an admired Greater Spirit Being or Nature or the Planet or Whatever the person has chosen of a refined or higher nature - this then is part of the wisdom to admire and devote to an object of choice...unrefined is not considered wise or witchcraft but may, if within the law and beyond the personal life of the witch such as in business life to maintain survival may have to be of an unrefined nature. This does not make a lesser witch but a person struggling in a different world. Wisdom is choice after survival within the law. Basic wisdom is common sense.
(...here unrefined refers to low rather than the raw product such as uncut gemstone in its natural or so-called 'unrefined state' ..here the natural gemstone state may be considered preferred to the cut style by humanity)

The Complex Witch
...the more items of learning added and used...the more complex the witch....
The complex witch adds studies to the life and then uses those in the lifestyle or business approach such as teaching witchcraft methods or water witchery or tarot reading or etc.
These studies eventually become part of the knowledge of wisdom which is not basic but added.
The study of herbs and gemstones, self-taught by gathering and gleaning or taught by another witch as teacher or an organization of some spiritual kind makes for a more complex witch...water dowsing of the water witch....healing and psychic readings of many values and variations may be part of a complex witch life.
Daily morning and evening prayers to God or Goddess or Spirit or ? some high minded reference or Being and time for meditations are another aspect of some witch lives and witch created community service knowledge internet sites such as... sharing informational or helping sites...teachers books by witches and special lectures or gathering classes on witchcraft basics and what witchcraft is...all is an interexchange of the complex witch knowledge of the wisdom of life. All help create, foster, share and spread joy in life of real witchcraft.

The Unwise Witch
...the
unwise witch may be a phase all of us in growing up have to face one
day and yet some of us may overcome it thru caution and awareness.
.....the unwise witch wants things regardless as to outcome..the unwise
witch deludes him/herself into believing that everything will be
alright even if dangerous choices are made...the unwise witch aims for
specifically targeted things and expects no problems whatsoever such
as..love with a specific person who is already with someone else..or to
buy a specific house that is not up for sale...or to have someone
else's position at work. For the most part these attempts to take over
someone else's legit place by witch means will come to nothing
but once in awhile a person's specific and wrong witch work may come
true. The results are usually very bad and probably not long lasting
tho I have heard of some hideous effects of stubborn love spells
concentrated on people which worked to the regret of the initiator who
disliked the person once they were stuck with them.

The Mage
In
the old days...ancient times....the mage knew....he became thru
time...(into his dropout of existence and reappearance within the world
once more)...the ...magi....magus....magic one.....and the
magistrate....
what do we know of these aspects?
there were few mages and they might actually been a race at one time.
Since they were few the necessity of 'breeding' or marrying out (as we like to refinedly refer to the prospect as dignified humans) to ensure the health of the offspring probably led to a smaller and smaller amount of real quality mages or magi and if certain quality requirements were needed to be fulfilled to maintain any kind of mage position we can see how just marrying in and having offspring would not guarantee the ability due the frivolous nature of genetic union results in many cases.
Thusly in order to establish our knowledge here we must discuss further what the makeup of a mage is.
..a mage knows the world....
...a mage carries his/her tasks through the worldly life whether it is known or not...
...a mage may be working on a great task/tasks/a quest whether it shows or not...
...whatever the present past or future worldly state of the mage the mage is still a mage...

...a mage may be a sensitive/healer/empath/seer/visionary/reader/guide/storyteller and/or more or... one or more of the aforementioned within the mage wisdom...
...a mage will enclose a wise belief...
....a mage will avoid physical fighting where at all possible....
...a mage will uphold wise action/wise defense/wise thinking in whatever order necessary to maintain the harmonies of wisdom...
...a mage can explain his/her belief in a simple understanding that makes logical sense...
